Terms & Conditions Of Clarice House

Clarice House gift vouchers can be exchanged for products and services at the Clarice House venue specified. Vouchers may be exchanged for products or services of a higher value, on payment of the difference. Vouchers will be subject to verification at the time of presentation. No responsibility will be accepted for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers. When booking over the phone please quote the serial number. Gift vouchers cannot be replaces if lost, nor redeemed for cash. Gift vouchers that are damaged or torn are void. We reserve the right to make a charge of 50% of the treatment cost for appointments, which are not kept, or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

Clarice House cannot be held responsible for vouchers sent in the post unless Recorded delivery is requested.

PLEASE NOTE ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Should you need to re-schedule a booking you have made a £10 fee will be applied.

Some Frequently Asked Questions - Your Spa Day package at Clarice House

What time should I arrive?

Day Spa packages all run from 9am – 5pm; De-Stress Morning packages run from 9am – 1pm and Evening Bliss packages from 5.30pm.  Please ensure that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your first treatment so that arrival formalities can be completed.

What happens when I arrive?

When you arrive you will be greeted by one of our Receptionists.  You will be asked to make your choices from the Lunch or Dinner menu and to complete your consultation
form, if you have not done so before arrival, after which you will be given a tour of the facilities.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive late for your treatments, whilst we will make every attempt to re-schedule your day, we cannot guarantee this. 

What if I have to cancel or change the date of my Spa / Bliss Day?

If you give us less than 48 hours notice there is nothing we can do, however if you give us more than 48 hours notice we are normally able to re-schedule.  A £10 re-scheduling fee will be applied.

What Should I wear?

Come as casual or a smart as you like – be comfortable. We suggest that you bring as little as possible with you as you may share a locker with another member of your party.

What should I bring?

Your Booking Confirmation, completed Consultation Form and any Vouchers used as payment for your Spa / Bliss Day, swimming costume(s), money to pay for drinks, credit card to pay for any extra treatments you have booked.  We do not run any ‘tabs’ throughout the day.

If your package includes robes / towels / slippers for the day

Robes and towels are for use during the day and must be returned. Slippers are for you to keep. You can purchase a robe at £15 per person.

NB Our robes are one size, however, we do have larger ones available.  Please call and request one if you feel that would be more comfortable.

Can I wear my robe throughout the day?

Yes, even into the Restaurant for lunch.

Do I have to carry my bag, etc. around with me?

No, you will be given a locker with a key, which you return before departure along with your towel.

Can anyone, not on a Spa / Bliss Day, join me for Lunch or Dinner?

Yes, very definitely.  Just call the Restaurant of your choice direct to book and pay on the day.

What is a mini manicure / mini pedicure?

You will be asked whether you prefer to have your nails filed and painted, with a varnish of your choice from our extensive OPI range, or whether you prefer to have conditioning work done on your cuticles and have other problem areas addressed.

Can I change my treatments for something else?

The Spa / Bliss Day packages have been put together to encompass a wide range of treatments.  These treatments cannot be changed.  However, you are welcome to book extra treatments to enhance your chosen package.

How long are the treatments?

All treatments are 25 minutes, unless otherwise stated.

What is there to do?

Depending on the site of your choice there are beautiful grounds for a wander, terraces and gardens for relaxing and a number of indoor areas for reading and chilling out.

Can I use the gym?

Unfortunately you cannot use the gym or attend classes; these facilities are for members only.

What about my mobile phone?

As all our Guests are here to relax, use of mobile phones is prohibited.

Are staff gratuities included?

These are left to the discretion of the individual. 

Please note – aquacise classes run am maximum of 4 times per week for 45 minutes each class during Day Spa hours.
